GAME INFORMATION
The University of Dallas volleyball team closes the month of September out with its fifth home match in the last nine outings against non-conference opponent, LeTourneau University. The match starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Fans are encouraged to dress up for Neon Night.
MATCH NOTES
- Dallas sits 7-9 on the season after a 2-3 week to start Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) play.
- Dayjah Whyte (Round Rock, Texas) was the top hitter in that span with 53 kills over the week. This included a season-high last time out at Centenary College.
- A quartet of hitters are now in triple-digits for kills including: Abigail Porras (El Paso, Texas) with 153, Whyte with 137, Ellise Anable (Phoenix, Ariz.) with 118, and Isabel Garcia (San Antonio, Texas) with 109. The top three in this group average at least 2.00 kills per set.
- Anna Stevenson (Dallas, Texas) and Whyte are tied for the team-lead in blocks with 33, block assists with 22, and solo blocks with 11.
- Dallas is 3-1 at the Maher Center this season and 2-1 against out of league foes.
- The Crusaders swept LeTourneau University, 3-0, in Longview in 2018. Whyte (14), Porras (12), and Anable (9), combined for mot of the team's 43 kills. UD hit .274 in the game.
- The last meeting between these programs in the Maher Center was in 2012, which UD won 3-0.

- LeTourneau is 6-6 overall and 1-2 in the American Southwest Conference (ASC).
- The YellowJackets are 3-3 against common opponents UD has played, which includes 1-2 versus SCAC teams. That includes a 3-0 victory at Centenary College last Tuesday.
- The team has been good on the serve with 68 aces compared to 46 by the opposition.
- Kianna Crow has logged 154 kills for a team-high. Taylor Smith is also above 100 now with 114.
- Natalie Davenport does most of the setting with 372 assists.
- Seven players have seven or more service aces led by Mikayla Thomas (13).

ROAD AHEAD
Dallas enjoys a much-deserved break with over a week off before returning to SCAC play at host Schreiner University. The Crusaders will play Johnson & Wales University, Texas Lutheran University, Trinity University, and University of St. Thomas to complete the first half of league play.
