Crusaders Compete at Texas Tech Shootout

LUBBOCK, Texas – The University of Dallas women's track and field team competed at the Texas Tech Shootout on Friday and Saturday. Mary Korth (McKinney, Texas) set a new mark in the 600 yard run in the program's first ever run in this event with a time of 1:50.86. Maddie Rodriguez (Houston, Texas), Anisa Meza (Helotes, Texas), and Sara Mora (Spring, Texas) all made their track debuts at this meet.

Rodriguez (30.71), Meza (32.91), Mora (33.96), and Nicole Zurita (Wichita, Kan.) (35.79) all packed together in the 200 Meter Dash.

In the 800 Meter Run, Korth locked up a time of 2:51.38.

Rodriguez (9.14), Meza (9.61), Mora (9.77), and Zurita (10.02) all competed in the 60 Meter Dash.

Dallas will compete at the Leap Day Relays in Jackson, Mississippi on February 29th.
