Lexi Tocci (Austin, Texas) netted her first collegiate goal less than a minute into the match. Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.), who finished with a three points, had the first look denied for a save, but the rebound went to Tocci on the left side of the box.
About 11 minutes later Whitney Jackson (Pryor, Okla.) garnered her fourth goal to take the team-lead in that category. Duran had her first goal of the campaign within the next five minutes to cap the scoring in the first half.
The Crusaders added a final goal in the second stanza in the 60th minute as Mason Cosgrove (Las Cruces, N.M.) flipped the ball over the keeper and continued it into the back of the goal. Mariana Burciaga (Forney, Texas) assisted the scoring play with a through ball that found the junior's classmate for her second goal on the season.
