IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women's soccer team fell 4-0 to No. 12 Trinity University on Friday afternoon. The Tigers scored all four goals in the opening half, with three coming just over a five minute span to put the match out of reach.
Hannah Booher got the nationally ranked team on the board at the 9:44 minute mark with a goal from the right side of the box. She crossed it back to the left part of the netting. Colleen Markey served the ball from the left side and got the assist. Trinity's offense pushed its advantage with three goals from the 29:18 mark to the 34:24 mark. Julia Kelley had a pair of goals in a row and Helleanne Dure capped the spurt on an assist from Jordan Bethea. Booher also picked up an assist on the second goal with her corner kick being headed in by Kelly.
Elena Naccari (Covington, La.) and Olivia Severson (La Crosse, Wis.) split time in the goalkeeper role with 45 minutes apiece. The goalie tandem combined for 12 saves, with Naccari making seven in the start.
