FIRST DRAW

The University of Dallas women's lacrosse team plays at Hendrix College on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. This is the team's third contest of the season away from Irving, Texas.

The Crusaders (3-5) are coming off a 12-8 setback to Cornell College on Wednesday. Lexi Leite (Houston, Texas) and Erika Keever (Fort Worth, Texas) combined for all UD's goals with Leite putting in a game-high five. However, the Rams scored the last four goals after Dallas rallied to knot the game at eight.


THREE THINGS TO KNOW FOR UD

- Leite has amassed 42 points and 40 goals. Her 34 goals against NCAA DIII opponents ranks her first on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) leaderboard.

- Keever ranks fifth in the SCAC with 18 goals. Her 22 overall ranks second.

- Lizz Winkler (St. Charles, Ill.) leads the conference with 80 saves. She has faced exactly 200 shots in NCAA DIII matches and logged 441:10 minutes overall on the campaign.

- Dallas fell 19-6 to the Warriors last season in Irving. UD is 1-3 against the Warriors with three consecutive losses dating to 2015.


A LOOK AT THE WARRIORS

- Hendrix enters with a 3-4 record and has dropped two in a row.

- The Warriors have won against common UD opponents this season with a 20-18 final over Southwestern University and 13-12 over Oglethorpe University.

- Morgan Dasch leads the team in goals (34), assists (24), and points (58).

- Alison Watanabe has contributed 25 goals and 14 assists for 39 points, while Hannah Burroughs has tossed in 15 goals.

- Alexis Truitt has started all seven matches and totaled 388:50 minutes with 84 saves and a .420 save percentage.
