Leite Named SCAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

LEXI LEITE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior attack from Houston, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 4th through Sunday, February 10th. Leite led the Crusaders with seven goals in their 15-13 victory over Huntingdon last Saturday.

Leite put nine of her 11 shots on goal and added two ground balls, three draw controls and forced two caused turnovers. Leite has now scored 13 times in the young season, as she continues to build on her career total at 113 for third most in program history. Leite is also the first member of the Dallas program to earn SCAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week. 

Dallas returns to the field this Saturday, February 16, versus Westminster College (PA).
