Dallas Finishes Seventh at Alamo City Classic

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas women's golf team concluded the second round of the Alamo City Classic at the Par 71 course at the Quarry Golf Club on Tuesday. UD finished seventh ahead of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) opponent Centenary College. Claire Kirby (Lubbock, Texas) improved by two shots on the day for a 202 (102, 100) to lead the Crusaders. Kirby finished 33rd overall.

Emma Christensen (West Haven, Utah) carded a 202 (103, 111) for 36th. Kaylei Richardson (Vega, Texas) totaled a 221 as she finished 37th. Tiffany Han (Walnut, Calif.) withdrew from the tournament.

Raquel Hill (Trinity University) took first place with a 157 (77, 80). Mia Lerma (Houston-Victoria) was a shot behind Hill for second place. Georgia Nunn (Trinity University) and Reygan Rodriguez (Schreiner University) tied third after carding an 82.

Trinity University won its home meet with a score of 642. Schreiner University came in second with a 679, as Houston-Victoria finished third with a 688.

Dallas has concluded the fall portion of its schedule. UD will begin the spring schedule on March 2nd-3rd at the SCAC Preview Meet at Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco, Texas.
