Diaz Selected to USCAA All-American Second Team

UNIONTOWN, PA - The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) announced its Women's Basketball All-American teams on Wednesday. Vanessa Diaz (San Antonio, Texas) was selected to the Women's Division II Second Team.

Diaz played in 23 games for the Crusaders notching seven double-doubles and scoring double-figures in 18 different games on the season. Diaz led the team with 8.2 rebounds-per-game (3^rd SCAC), 189 rebounds, 12.9 points-per-game, and 296 points scored. 

This is the ninth straight year a member of the UD women's basketball team has received an USCAA All-American award. Diaz is the 15th member of the program to be selected with the distinction.
