LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2015-16 spring term and 404 student-athletes made the list.

Akron, Ohio - The 2016 USCAA Softball National All-Academic team was announced at the championship banquet on Sunday, May 15th. The USCAA bestowed the award in 63 student-athletes in total. National All-Academic team honors are awarded to students of sophomore standing or higher with at least a 3.5 GPA. We congratulate the award recipients listed below.

AKRON, Ohio - The 2016 USCAA All-American and End of Year Awards were announced at the 2016 USCAA Softball National Championship Banquet at Guy’s Party Centre in Akron, OH. The USCAA awarded more than 45 All-Americans, as well as this year’s Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Student-Athlete of the Year. Congratulations to all winners on a great season on the field.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its eighth annual spring All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 49 student-athletes were selected to the 2015-16 squad in the sports of baseball, men's golf, women's golf, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's track & field and women's track & field.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas Athletics Department celebrated the third annual athletic banquet on Sunday at the Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 14 NCAA affiliated programs took a few minutes to reflect on the teams’ year. The Most Valuable Players (MVPs) were announced, which are voted by the athletes on each team once a season ends. Other notable honors were handed out and/or announced.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas softball team advanced to play four contests, which was the farthest for the program in three tournaments with the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). After scoring their highest mark in a tournament game with 11 in their first victory Friday, the Lady Crusaders managed nine more runs in their first elimination game decided by a five-inning, run-rule to fourth seeded Southwestern University.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas softball team nipped two deficits in the third and fourth innings against host school Trinity University, but could not overcome a 4-3 setback in the nightcap on Friday in the SCAC Tournament. Number three-seeded Dallas went 1-1 overall and will look to avoid its second loss in the double elimination format. Number two-seeded Trinity improved to 3-2 against UD head-to-head this season and will face top-seeded Texas Lutheran University at 2 p.m.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced the 2016 All-Conference Softball Team on Friday evening. The University of Dallas softball team placed nine members on the All-Conference Team. This marks the most members from the Lady Crusaders to be listed All-SCAC, since joining the league in 2012. Last year, Dallas had eight players named.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – After falling down 4-1 in the second inning, the number three-seeded University of Dallas softball team shifted the tide in an eventual 11-6 triumph over number six-seeded Schreiner University on Friday afternoon.

KERRVILLE, Texas – The University of Dallas softball team split for the second day of a four-game series at Schreiner University. The teams went 2-2 in the series with the Lady Crusaders falling 5-4 in game one and prevailing 6-3 in the finale.

KERRVILLE, Texas - The University of Dallas softball team dropped a 4-0 final in game one, and prevailed 7-2 in the second contest of an opening series doubleheader at Schreiner University. Junior Avery Finch (Jamul, Calif.) set the school record for career stolen bases with 78. Her trio of steals on the night also gave her 31 this season, to shatter her previous single-season record set in 2015.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas softball team concluded the 2016 home portion of its schedule in winning fashion with an 8-2 victory. The triumph ended a five-game slide, as the Lady Crusaders split a Wednesday doubleheader in non-conference action with LeTourneau University. LETU claimed a 9-1 win in the first game.
