Crusaders Claim Seventh at SCAC Championships

WIDEFIELD, Colo. - The University of Dallas men's cross country team finished seventh with 198 points, just ahead of Schreiner University who grabbed 199 at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships on Saturday. Thomas Lagarde (Linden, Va.) claimed the 26th position with a time of 28:24.6.

John James (Metairie, La.) ran a time of 29:56.1 for a 39th place finish. Andrew Maal (Pueblo West, Colo.), Robert Lueck (Thousand Oaks, Calif.), Nick Wallisch (St. Paul, inn.), and Caleb Clayton (Kerrville, Texas) all packed together finishing 57th, 58th, 60th, and 62nd for Dallas, respectively.

Tony Calderon and Max Blackburn, from Colorado College, took first and second with times of 25:27.9 and 25:50.2, respectively. Harry Bellow (Trinity University) notched third finishing at the 26:16.6 mark.

Colorado College won the conference championships with 21 points. Trinity University secured second with 51, while Austin College took third (102).
