McGuirk PR's to Break Own 400-Meter Hurdles Record at Marc Randle Classic

BULLARD, Texas - The University of Dallas men's track and field team competed at the Marc Randle Classic hosted by UT-Tyler on Friday. Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) broke the school record in the 400-Meter Hurdles for the second time in two seasons. McGuirk posted a personal record (PR) time of 58.66 seconds. His previous record was a 59.69 mark at the Dan Veach Invitational in Magnolia, Arkansas on March 31, 2018.


OTHER NOTABLES

- McGuirk also competed in the 110-meter hurdles for the first time in two years notching an 18.20 mark.

- Solomon Schroder (Coupland, Texas) and Kai Warner (Lawrenceville, Ga.) both made their season debuts.

- Warner (26.14) and Schroder (27.98) both competed in the 200m. Warner ran in the 100m race with a 12.97 mark, while Schroder also ran in the 400-meter race.

- Jacob Fink (Coppell, Texas) competed for Dallas in pole vault on the day, making his team debut after weather cancelled the event last Saturday.
