Crusaders Announce 2019 Spring Schedule
IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team has announced its 2019 spring schedule. Garrett Smith is entering his third season as head coach for the Crusaders. Dallas competed in four tournaments in the fall portion of its schedule.
UD will open the spring season at the Schreiner Spring Shootout in Kerrville, Texas. The two-day tournament kicks off on Monday (Mar. 11) and will continue through Tuesday. Dallas will then play in another conference opponent contest at the Centenary Hal Sutton Invitational March 18-19. To close out March, the Crusaders will travel west to La Verne, California to play in the West Cup March 24-25.
April will begin with the West Region Invitational at Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown, Texas. This tournament will be held the 8-9. The last tune-up before the SCAC Championship for Dallas will include the Rhodes Collegiate Spring Classic April 15-16 in Memphis, Tennessee.
The SCAC Championship will be hosted at Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco, Texas April 22-23. Dallas is coming off a 4th place finish in last year's conference tournament.
