42 Crusaders Qualified on SCAC Spring Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its 2017 Spring Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today and 456 student-athletes made the list. Since its inception in 1997 just under 25,000 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

IRVING, Texas – On Sunday the University of Dallas Athletic Department celebrated the fourth annual athletic banquet held at Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 15 NCAA affiliated programs were asked to summarize the year for their teams. The team-voted Most Valuable Players (MVPS) were announced and handed out. Coaches also noted other conference achievements, program records, and student-athlete milestones.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The University of Dallas men’s golf team prevailed on consecutive days against Hendrix College in another 18-hole dual on Sunday. The Crusaders shot a 315 to best Hendrix’s 327 and win the third head-to-head in a row during the 2016-17 year.

CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Dallas men’s golf team prevailed in a 18-hole dual match with Hendrix College on Saturday at the Conway Country Club. The Crusaders posted a 313 and were one stroke off from tying its lowest single round in the spring, which was earned in the first 18 at the Pinecrest Intercollegiate.

ALLEN, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s golf team wrapped up its busy week with day two of the Texas Cup hosted by University of Texas at Dallas on Sunday. The Crusaders participated in their second tournament with four of the past seven days spent competing on the links. Dallas finished eighth overall.

ALLEN, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s golf team came sits in seventh place out of 10 after round one of the Texas Cup hosted by University of Texas at Dallas. Playing at Golf Club at Twin Creeks in the local Dallas-Fort Worth area, the Crusaders compiled a 321 on the day.

BOSSIER CITY, La. – The University of Dallas men’s golf team completed day one of the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate hosted by Centenary College at The Golf Club at StoneBridge. Dallas scored 321 as a team and sit in 5th place out of seven teams at the end of the first round.
Schuberg tabbed SCAC Golfer of the Week for the 1st time this Spring (3rd Overall 2016-17)

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced Thomas Schuberg (Camarillo, Calif.) from the University of Dallas earned Golfer of the Week for his play in the Pinecrest Intercollegiate earlier this week. This is the 3rd time in Schuberg’s career to win this recognition. The Crusaders top golfer did get named twice in the fall part of the season.

LONGVIEW, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s golf team concluded its first spring tournament of 2017 with a 321 in the third round on Tuesday at the Pinecrest Intercollegiate. Dallas improved on its previous round by five strokes, but fell well short of its opening 18-hole performance of 312.
