IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas athletics department celebrated its sixth annual end of the year banquet on Sunday, May 5, at the Hagger University Center. Each coach from the 15 NCAA affiliated programs took a moment to speak on behalf of their program, as well as recognize those that received postseason achievements highlighted by each team’s Most Valuable Player (Listed at bottom).

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its 11th annual winter All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 32 student-athletes were selected to the 2018-19 squad in the sports of men's basketball, women's basketball, men's swimming and diving and women's swimming and diving.

UNIONTOWN, Pa. - The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) announced its National All-Academic winners for Division I & Division II basketball during its National Championship Banquet at Seven Springs Resort on Saturday, March 2nd and Wednesday, March 6th. The USCAA National All-Academic award is given to student-athletes with at least 24 credits and a 3.5 GPA.

SEGUIN, Texas – A thrilling Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Tournament ended on Sunday with the fifth-seeded University of Dallas men’s basketball team unable to pull its third upset in as many days to second-seeded Texas Lutheran University in a double overtime, 99-95, final in the SCAC Men’s Basketball Championship.

SEGUIN, Texas - The fifth-seeded University of Dallas men's basketball team pulled another upset, this time taking top-seeded Southwestern University, 91-84, on the campus of Texas Lutheran University in the first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) semifinal game on Saturday evening. The victory lifted the Crusaders to their program's first-ever SCAC men's basketball championship game.

SEGUIN, Texas – The fifth-seeded University of Dallas men’s basketball defeated fourth-seeded Schreiner University in a nailbiter that saw neither team ahead by more than four points to open the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men’s Basketball Tournament on Friday evening at host Texas Lutheran University. The Crusaders scored the final six points to match their largest lead of the game, which came as the final score 68-64.

SEGUIN, Texas - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Tournament begins this Friday, February 22, in Seguin, Texas, on the campus of Texas Lutheran University. The University of Dallas men's basketball team earned the fifth seed after tying Trinity University with a 6-10 conference record. Dallas won the tiebreaker by virtue of its season series split over top-seeded Southwestern University.
Crusaders Conclude Regular Season at Trinity with a 68-55 Setback

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s basketball team concluded the regular season with a 68-55 setback at Trinity University on Saturday evening. The Crusaders finished 9-16 overall and 6-10 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). Trinity improved to 6-19 overall and also finished 6-10 in league play. Both teams secured a final berth into the SCAC Tournament on Friday with Austin College falling at Texas Lutheran University.
