Dallas Baseball Players Have Ingenious Way of Clearing Water

IRVING, Texas - Last week there was heavy rainfall, and the University of Dallas baseball team was going to have to work hard to get the field playable for its final home series against Southwestern University. On Thursday, the some members of the squad came up with a method of moving water to the get it to flow to the drain located behind the right field fence. Work smarter not harder right?

A video captured the players executing this ingenious strategy, which was uploaded to twitter and caught popularity going viral later that day. It carried through the weekend until eventually reaching weather.com, where they have a story and video embeded to watch. There are over a million views on this particular post, and several others that have garnered a lot of attention for our Crusaders. Many have noted the ingenious method our players created, and likely will be inspired to develop a way to get rid of water from a field.
