On this date in the University of Dallas Athletics History:

April 10, 2016 – The Crusaders baseball team secured a series win against SCAC foe Schreiner University, 4-1. Dallas scored three runs in the seventh inning with Jordan Stickler breaking the deadlock on a single down the left field line. Avery Arnold added two RBI that frame. Luciano Villanueva and William Marshall combined for nine innings, going at least four apiece.

April 10, 2016 - Jacob Tom set the UD men's lacrosse single-game record for caused turnovers (6).

April 10, 2015 - The Crusaders softball team picked up a pair of wins to start their four-game series with Schreiner University. In game one, Dallas scored in each inning and blanked the Mountaineers in an 8-0 final (5 innings). In game two, UD banged five doubles and a triple that was part of a 18-hit game in a 10-7 win. Erin Begle knocked doubles in both her at bats. Lyda Tesauro and Taylor Garcia scored three runs apiece.

April 10, 2011 – Dallas baseball claimed a 14-10 victory at Austin College. Four players went yard in for the Crusaders, with six overall in the slugfest. Trevor Allred, David Rettinger, Delano Ponce, and Mark Carlson formed UD’s quartet to smack the round-trippers.

April 10, 2010 – Baseball scored three runs in the final two innings of a seven-inning final to defeat University of Chicago, 7-5, and secure a split of the doubleheader. Dallas totaled 10 hits with David Rettinger going 2-3, HR, 3 RBI, 2 runs. His long ball tied things in the sixth. Philip Carkhuff logged 4.2 innings of relief and struck out eight.

April 10, 2010 - Men’s track and field records set on this date included: Long Jump by Matt Mayor (20’3”) and 800 Meters Record by Greg Pivarunas (1:56.87). Both were achieved at the Hendrix Invitational.

On the women's side, Megan Deras won the 800 Meters with a 2:22.2. However, it was at a different competition – the Tiger Twilight in San Antonio.

April 10, 2004 – 2018 Dallas baseball Hall of Famer, Brian Spinner, recorded his second base hit of game. An error on the play allowed Blake St. Onge to score the game-winning run and walk things off for UD over University of La Verne. Onge also had a pair of hits and runs. He homered in the seventh to start the trio of unanswered runs for the home team.

April 10, 2004 - Adam Todd set the Decathlon Record (5,646) at the ASU David Noble Relays in San Angelo.
