Bio

Lexi Stinson has completed her seventh season as the head coach for the University of Dallas women's soccer team. She is the ninth head coach of the program and has the second most wins in program history with a 43-60-12 career record.

Stinson is coming off what is arguably her best ever season, guiding the team to a 9-6-1 overall record and third seed in the SCAC conference tournament.  They would fall 2-0 in the semifinals to the eventual champions, Trinity.  The team's .594 is the highest mark since 2012, and Stinson surpassed her previous best winning percentage of .579, which she reached in 2019 with a record of 10-7-2. Before Stinson, the Crusaders hadn't posted a winning record since 2012; they now have two winning seasons in the last three years, and four straight conference tournament appearances.

The 2019 team posted a 5-2-1 record in conference play to finish as the four seed, and it is still their most wins in conference play since the 2014 season.  Stinson led her team to back-to-back SCAC semifinals in 2018 and 2019, defeating TLU in the quarterfinals both times to reach the semis.  Their appearance in the SCAC Tournament was the programs first since 2015.

Stinson previously spent 2016 as an assistant coach with LeTourneau University before being hired in December, 2016 at Dallas for her first head coaching position.

Stinson played soccer at Hardin-Simmons University from 2012-15. A graduate in December, 2015, Stinson earned a Bachelor of Behavioral Science with a major in Criminal Justice and minor in Forensic Studies.

As a goalie for the Cowgirls, Stinson earned three NSCAA All-Regions, four ASC All-Conferences, 2015 ASC Goalkeeper of the Year, 2015 Academic All-ASC, and 2014 ASC All-Tournament Team.
