Bio

Kassie James joined the Crusaders' softball staff as a graduate assistant in 2019. She is studying her Master of Leadership Studies at the University of Dallas. 

She arrives from NCAA Divison I Houston Baptist University in 2017 and '18. She started both seasons at third base for the Huskies and captured All-SLC Honorable Mention at that position both years. Her 2017 campaign, she led the team with a .310 batting average. 

December 2017, James graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. 

James played for the NJCAA Division I Angelina College Roadrunners in 2014 and '15. A starting 3B both seasons, James led the Roadrunners to the 2014 NJCAA National Championship. James was a two-time NFCA All-American. Her work in the classroom with 2014 Scholar-Athlete and two-time Academic All-American. She added NJCAA All-Region All-Conference and All-Region in 2015, as well as being named 2015 Marucci Elite Hitter.
