Two UD Cross Country Members Receive AD3I Awards

Senior Angela Cuba (Holliday, TX/Holliday H.S.) made the Association of Division IIII Independents women's cross country second team along with fellow senior Greg Pivarunas (Elma, NY/St. Francis H.S.).

Cuba was a four-year letter winner and current record holder in the 5000 meter as well as the team MVP for the women's squad. In previous years she has been MVP and won one race this season. Cuba has won four total races in her career, and is the UD record holder for meets competed in a career with a total of 27.

Beside being named the MVP for the men's team, Pivarunas also holds the men's record for meets competed in with a total of 28. A four-year letter winner, he has won one meet in his career and currently holds the 5000 meter record at the University of Dallas.
