FIRST SERVE

The University of Dallas volleyball team will play two non-conference matches on Friday (10/5). The Crusaders (12-8, 4-4 SCAC) take on Louisiana College at 5 p.m. UD will turn around and play the host, LeTourneau University at 7 p.m.


UD NOTES

-  Elizabeth Smith (Broken Arrow, Okla.) has now jumped up the Dallas all-time assists record book. After 42 assists against Randall University on Tuesday she surpassed Megan Hoffman for fourth all-time in UD history. Smith stands at 2,388 career assists.

- Dayjah Whyte (Round Rock, Texas) now has 193 kills on the season for the team-lead.

- Lexi Shafer (Sugar Land, Texas) is second in the SCAC in service aces per set (0.51).

- Dallas will hope to better its 5-5 record in neutral sight games.
