Jamie comes to UD from Ottawa, Kan. Jaime was a 3-time
All-Area middle blocker for Ottawa High School, leading her team to
the Kansas State Tournament and selected to the Kansas-Missouri
All-Star game. She also ran track for Ottawa, twice making it to
the Kansas State Meet. Additionally, Jaime played club volleyball,
competing for Midwest Jrs and the Zoom volleyball club. Jaime also
excelled academically at Ottawa, a National Honor student and
Kansas Governor’s Scholar. Jaime was editor of the campus
newspaper, active in youth leadership on campus and in the
community.
Jaime will be switching to outside hitter for the Crusaders, a
position where her explosive jump and strong arm can best be
utilized. Although primarily a middle blocker in high school and
club, Jaime was an all-around player who often played on the
outside. Big things are expected of Jaime as she moves into the
outside hitter position previously held by fellow Kansan, Liz
Baska, who graduated last spring.
Jaime is interested in studying Business and Journalism at UD.
In her free time, Jamie is dedicated to her fitness and
nutrition.
