Kaycie Willis got the other two points for Dallas with her performance in the shot put, recording a mark of 10.75 meters for a fifth place finish.  She also competed in the discus, notching amark of 30.07 meters.

Anna Wilgenbusch was unable to compete in the Championships due to injury, but her times leading up to the event suggest she would have been a near shoe-in for the podium in the 5000 and 10,000 meters.
