Scott and Ebberwein Race in 1500 Meters at McMurry Warhawk Challenge

ABILENE, Texas - The University of Dallas women's track and field team competed in their final regular season meet at the McMurry Warhawk Challenge Saturday. 

Megan Scott (Hudson, Mass.) and Gracie Ebberwein (Wichita, Kan) both competed in the 1500m run with Scott beating her teammate by one place. Scott finished 15th in the 1500m and Ebberwein finished 16th. Both runners PRed in the 1500m with Scott also possessing the more outstanding improvement with a time of 5:40.83, crushing her previous time by over 11 seconds.  Ebberwein also greatly improved her 1500m time with a finish of 5:41.84, shattering her previous time by almost six full seconds.

UD's final meet of the season will be at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships on Friday and Saturday, April 23-24, in Seguin, Texas hosted by Texas Lutheran University.
