NEW ORLEANS, La. – Scholar Teams of the Year and All-Academic Team honors for the 2016-17 NCAA Division III Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field seasons were announced Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
42 Crusaders Qualified on SCAC Spring Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its 2017 Spring Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today and 456 student-athletes made the list. Since its inception in 1997 just under 25,000 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

Hassink Breaks another UD Record; Set the Shot Put Record at Mines Last Chance

GOLDEN, Colo. - For the second straight competition, Diana Hassink (Tulsa, Okla.) shattered another University of Dallas women's track and field record. After breaking the Hammer Throw at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship two weeks ago with a 119' 8" (36.53 Meters) mark, the junior surpassed the school best in the Shot Put on Friday at Colorado School of Mines Last Chance. She barely edged the old mark by 1.75 inches, as she threw a 38'8.75" (11.80m).

IRVING, Texas – On Sunday the University of Dallas Athletic Department celebrated the fourth annual athletic banquet held at Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 15 NCAA affiliated programs were asked to summarize the year for their teams. The team-voted Most Valuable Players (MVPS) were announced and handed out. Coaches also noted other conference achievements, program records, and student-athlete milestones.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s track and field team concluded the 2017 season on Friday and Saturday at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship hosted by Trinity University. The host school prevailed on the women’s side with 234 points.

PRINCETON, N.J. - Katie McIntyre (Sparta, N.J.) competed in the Sam Howell Invitational on Saturday in a race that featured several NCAA Division I opponents. McIntyre raced in the 400 Meters and finished 20th with a time of 1:04.38.

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Dallas women's track and field team competed at the Hardin-Simmons Invitational on Saturday. Several Crusaders landed Personal Record (PR) marks, while others debuted on new events this season.
Women's Track and Field Results at War Hawk Classic

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Dallas women's track and field team returned to action after a couple weeks off and performed at the War Hawk Classic hosted by McMurry University. This competition featured several American Southwest Conference (ASC) school's including the host. There were also all-but one Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) school as Texas Lutheran University, Trinity University, Southwestern University, and Austin College all were present.
