Women's Track and Field Results at Oklahoma Baptist University Invitational

SHAWNEE, Okla. – The University of Dallas women's track and field team competed in the Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) Invitational this past Saturday.

Junior Emma Polefko (Cypress, Texas) claimed a personal record (PR) on the 1500 Meter relay with a 5:30.12 score. Senior Elizabeth Hinchley (Magnolia, Texas) totaled a 5:41.79 to finish with a solid time.

Other PR's were notched on the 400 Hurdles by sophomore Lizzie Depew (Grove City, Pa.) and senior Sarah Valdovinos with a 1:13.09 and 1:19.26, respectively.

Making her season debut, senior Meghan Falconer (Kohler, Wis.) posted a time of 12:52 minutes in the Steeplechase for the new top mark in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC).

Participants for the Lady Crusaders in the 4X100 Meter Relay increased their season PR with a 54.96 mark. The quartet included: senior Michelle DeRoche (Lemont, Ill.), Depew, sophomore Katie Mcintyre (Sparta, N.J.), and freshman Helen Onyenso (Oak Park, Ill.).

Dallas will be at the Hardin-Simmons University (HSU) Invitational next Saturday, Apr. 4.
