Six Lady Crusaders tab 2013 'All-SCAC' Women's T&F honors

SAN ANTONIO - Six student-athletes from the University of Dallas women's track & field team have landed on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's (SCAC) 2013 All-SCAC Women's Track & Field Team. 

Michelle DeRoche, Katie Wisowaty, Rebecca Basler and Sarah Valdovinos placed second in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 55.52 8 Antonella Escarfullery achieved second in the triple jump with a distance of 8.76m, while Colleen Slattery's 8.56m was third. Escarfullery also medaled in the high jump with a third-place leap of 1.52m.

Trinity University first-year Anecia Richardson beat out a handful of her teammates for the high-point award. Richardson won three individual events, and earned All-SCAC in a fourth to bring home another top honor in the conference. She earned a title in the women's hammer throw to open the meet Friday night, then won the shot put and discus in Saturday's action. Richardson then earned third place in the javelin to finish off her night.
