Women's Tennis Beaten by Hendrix

CONWAY, Ark. - The University of Dallas women's tennis team lost their non-conference match with Hendrix College on Sunday.  They fall to 0-5 on the year.

There were two doubles matches and four singles matches scheduled for this contest.  Claire Jandrain and Ariana Menchaca were defeated 8-0 at number one, and Sanskriti Baranwal and Caroline Dodson were defeated 8-3 at number two.

After dropping set one 6-0, Jandrain battled hard at line one in her singles match.  She came up just short in a hard fought set two, losing 6-4.  Menchaca fell 6-2, 6-0 at two, Baranwal was defeated 6-3, 6-1 on line three, and Caroline Dodson was defeated 6-0, 6-0 at number four.

The Crusaders have a busy week ahead of them; this was their first of four matches over the next three days.  They will face University of the Ozarks tomorrow in Clarksville, Ark. at 2:00 p.m.
