MARSHALL, Texas - The University of Dallas women's tennis team was defeated by east Texas Baptist University 9-0 on Saturday.  They fall to 0-4 on the year.

There were two doubles matches and five singles matches scheduled for this contest.  Claire Jandrain and Ariana Menchaca were defeated 8-1 at number one, and Gabrielle Nguyen and Sanskriti Baranwal were defeated 8-1 at number two.

Jandrain returned to number one after missing last week's match, and was defeated 6-1, 6-0.  Menchaca was defeated 6-0, 6-0, Baranwal was defeated 6-2, 6-1, and Caroline Dodson was defeated 6-0, 6-2 at number four.  Nguyen put up a tough fight in her singles match, but was defeated 6-4, 6-3 at number five.
