Duran and Lien Named to SCAC Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) office today announced the 2018 SCAC Women's Soccer All-Tournament team. 

The University of Dallas had two selections, with Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.) and May Lien (Katy, Texas) being tabbed. It is the first selection for both of these players.

Duran is a junior and three-year letterwinner. Playing in her first conference tournament, she led the team this season in goals (4) and points. Her succuessful penalty kick in the shootout of last Friday's upset over third-seeded Texas Lutheran University was the clincher to lift UD 4-2. 

Lien made an impact in her first collegiate season with the Crusaders and also in the tournament. The freshman netted three goals with two assists for eight points. All of her goals came against SCAC opponents, including the first goal in Friday's match with TLU. 

Both Duran and Lien were named to the All-SCAC Second Team last week, as well.
