Reeh and Duran earn spots on All-SCAC 2nd Team

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – On Monday the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced the 2016 All-SCAC Women's Soccer Teams. Two players from the University of Dallas received nods for the All-SCAC Second Team. Chelsea Reeh (Boerne, Texas) and Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.) were the two players named.

The freshmen tandem made impacts in their debut seasons, each leading the Crusaders in the top two spots of points, goals, shots, and shots on goal.

Reeh, who tallied 16 points from eight goals this season, produced a 61.3 (38-62) shots on goal percentage. Reeh broke a conference and school record with six goals in a single match at Southwestern Adventist University. The forward was nominated as Herosports.com Hero of the Week after that performance. Two of Reeh's goals were game winners. Besides the one in her record-breaking contest, Reeh punched a golden goal in a 4-3 overtime victory versus Centenary College. Reeh also scored her first collegiate goal to start that match.

Duran was another forward that found opportunities to score for the Crusaders. She also dished a pair of assists to go with three goals and finished with eight points. She also placed 28 of her 51 shots on frame. Duran ranked second in each of those statistics on the squad. The notable match for the rookie was when she kicked both goals in a 2-0 shutout over Millsaps College. Duran added her other goal and a pair of assists, including what led to the game-winning goal, against Centenary.
