IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women's soccer team (4-13-2, 1-9-2 SCAC) were unable to keep up with third ranked Trinity University (18-0, 12-0 SCAC) on Sunday afternoon. The Crusaders blanked guests through halftime after two early goals allowed in the first fifteen minutes, but would surrender six in the final 45 minutes.

Yasmeen Farra, the conference leader in goals, scored the first netter in the sixth minute after Julia Camp provided a cross that was deflected to Farra on the left side. About ten minutes later Chelsea Cole scored to increase the advantage 2-0. It remained that way through intermission.

Dallas did muster three shots in the frame and limited the Tigers to seven. Both teams battled for possession as UD's Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.) posted the first shot early in the match. Miranda Lozano (Frisco, Texas) and Gaby Gonzalez (McAllen, Texas) also kicked shots during this span.

Shortly after the break, Trinity extended the advantage with consecutive goals nearly a minute apart.
