THE LEAD

The University of Dallas women's soccer team (3-8, 1-5 SCAC) completes a season-long, five-game home stand on Friday versus Schreiner University. Kickoff is slated around 4 p.m. after the men's match. It is also the annual pinkout game that the UD Blew Crew is putting on this year. A Dallas pink jersey will be auctioned at the conclusion of the game.

Dallas won a thrilling overtime game in 4-3 fashion over Centenary College last Sunday. It was the Crusaders first victory in conference play. Chelsea Reeh (Boerne, Texas) bounced the golden goal in the net, as she claimed SCAC Player of the Week Laurels with her first two of her career. Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.) assisted on the game winner to register four points with a goal also tallied.

UD NOTES

- Duran boasts team-highs in points (8), goals (3), shots (32), and shots on goal (19). Reeh is the other player with multiple goals and has 18 of her 29 shots on frame.

- Mason Cosgrove (Las Cruces, N.M.) is second on the squad with five points, which is from her team-most three helpers. Cosgrove has an .857 shot on goal percentage (12-14).

- Besides the previous three players mentioned above, Cascade Mayer (Kapaa, Hawaii) and Mackenzie Vasile (San Antonio, Texas) round out the top quintet in double-digit shot attempts with 14 and 11, respectively.

- Elena Naccari (Covington, La.) has played 712:07 minutes between the posts and made nine starts. She has 42 saves which helped her surpass 250 in her career last Sunday. Olivia Severson (La Crosse, Wis.) has made four consecutive appearances, including two starts. The freshman has 18 saves and a 1.51 goals allowed average.

UD SEASON STATS

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS

Schreiner (5-3-3, 3-1-1 SCAC) won last time out in a 1-0 decision at home against Southwestern University. Prior to that, the Mountaineers tied Texas Lutheran University in a 0-0 result. SU is 1-2-1 on the road including its lone SCAC game away from the friendly confines being a 3-0 setback at Centenary.

The team is led offensively by Cailee Morgan with five goals and 11 points. She has tallied 21 of her 32 shots on goal. Kayla McConnell has matched her goals and assists total for three apiece. A quartet of Mountaineers break into the top three for points with five each. Three of those players have two goals including: Ruth Blackburn, Chloe Luna, and Catalina Reyes. Jordin Toso was last week's SCAC Defensive Player of the Week and has 33 saves in 837:08 minutes between the pipes this year.

Schreiner Season Stats

Dallas was topped 2-0 at Schreiner in the first meeting between the programs this fall. Morgan and Luna registered the goals and Morgan had an assist to give her five points on the night. Both goals were recorded in the second half as the match was scoreless at halftime. UD had five of six shots on target, but could not get past Toso in the shutout.

In 2015 at Crusader Field, the Mountaineers prevailed 4-1 with a pair of goals etched in both halves.
