Chelsea Reeh earns SCAC Offensive Player of the Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Chelsea Reeh (Boerne, Texas) has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for matches played Monday, September 26th through Sunday, October 2nd.

It is the first time Reeh has claimed the weekly honor and first to gain an offensive player of the week from the team since Alice Nelson (Week 6) in 2014. Nicole Johnson also received an accolade the second week of that same campaign.

Reeh punched the heroic golden goal for the University of Dallas in a thrilling 4-3 overtime win against Centenary College of Louisiana on Sunday. It was the Crusaders first conference victory this season and Reeh had a big impact on the match. The freshman notched her first collegiate goal under 10 minutes in the match to get UD on the board 1-0. Reeh registered three shots on goal and had a perfect percentage with all attempts on target.

Reeh tied the SCAC weekly leaders for last week in goals and points and lifted her to third on the team in the latter category. She is the other player besides team-leader Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.) with more than one goal. Reeh is second on the squad with 29 shots and 18 shots on goal.

Dallas wraps up a season-long, five-game home stand on Friday versus Schreiner University.
