Elena Naccari Named SCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week for @UDallasWSoccer

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – ELENA NACCARI OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman goalkeeper from Covington, La., has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 27th through Sunday, November 2nd.

It was the first time the rookie claimed the defensive player-of-the-week accolade and first Lady Crusader to on the campaign.

Naccari marked three saves in the match against the 'Roos, earning her fourth shutout of the season. The shutout helped the Crusaders clinch the third seed in the upcoming SCAC tournament, which would have otherwise gone to the 'Roos.

In 1116:00 minutes in the net, Naccari has marked a team-leading 64 saves, while marking a .753 save percentage.

The Crusaders will play in Friday's second quarterfinal match against Schreiner University. The winner will move onto the semifinals to play the second-seeded Texas Lutheran.
