UDallasWSoccer 1, Schreiner 0 (F/OT)

KERRVILLE, Texas – The University of Dallas women's soccer team (7-5, 5-1 SCAC) prevailed 1-0 in an overtime victory at Schreiner University (3-7, 1-6 SCAC) on Friday night. It's the team's fourth win in a row, all versus conference opponents, and fifth in the last six matches.

Dallas sweeps the season series against the Mountaineers, taking both contests by a single goal. The navy and white were triumph a week ago in Irving, Texas, defeating Schreiner 2-1.

The Lady Crusaders were outshot by the home team, 6-5, in a low-scoring match that required extra regulation to dictate a victor. Sophomore midfielder Cascade Mayer (Kapaa, Hawaii) delivered the heroic kick, giving her two on the campaign.

Junior midfielder Abigale Weisbrod (Mesquite, Texas) was credited the assist on a scoring sequence that ended an impressive contest at the 93:07 minute mark.

It was Mayer's lone shot of the game too, as a quartet of players for Dallas attempted shots in the victory. Junior forward Nicole Johnson (Houston, Texas), freshman defender Lauren Hood (Bedford, Texas), senior defender Kaitlin Meske (Waco, Texas), and Weisbrod all participated in the shooting effort.

Freshman goalkeeper Elena Naccari (Covington, La.) had a good outing, picking up four saves and holding Schreiner to her second shutout of the season.
