IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas Women's Soccer Team (3-5, 1-1 SCAC) dropped a 3-0 contest versus No. 3 Trinity (7-1, 3-0 SCAC) on Sunday afternoon. The Lady Crusaders have concluded a season-long home stand, going 1-2 in the three matches.

The navy and white kept up with the top ten ranked opponent, forcing a scoreless game through most of the first half. Dallas was outshot 11-3 in the opening frame however, and eventually the Trinity offense would wear down freshman goalkeeper Elena Naccari (Covington, La.).

After displaying some spectacular saves and limiting the Tigers time in the box, the home team allowed a goal from Julia Camp at the 42:16 mark to lift the maroon and white to a 1-0 lead. Hannah Hommel was credited with an assist that would result in the score at intermission.

Out of the break, two more goals would happen within four minutes of each other, with the first occurring at the 54:09 minute point off a Tierney Thomison penalty kick.

In the 59th minute, Trinity secured the momentum once Briggitte Taylor slipped a cross pass from abby Tisdale into the far right corner.

Tallying shots for the Lady Crusaders were senior forward Nicole Johnson (Houston, Texas) and junior defender Nicolette Perez (San Diego, Calif.).

Johnson, who notched the game-winner in Friday's overtime victory over Southwestern, poured a team-high three total and one on goal.

Naccari (1-2) drew the start, posting eight saves, her second highest total in her career, while facing 20 shots and allowing three goals.
