IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas women's soccer team (0-1) opened their 20th season in program history, with a 3-2 double-overtime defeat to Concordia University (1-0), on Friday afternoon at Crusader Field.

Alex Price deposited the game-winning goal, with just 42 seconds remaining in the second overtime. She had two goals in the match, as she also scored in the 73rd minute to give the Lady Tornados a 2-1 advantage.

Nicole Johnson (Houston, Texas) tied the affair in the 84th minute, when she followed on her penalty kick that was saved by Kila Hartom. Johnson's final stat line included a team-high seven shots and two goals.

The senior forward helped Dallas draw first blood, on a 19th-minute tally from sophomore midfielder Cascade Mayer (Kappa, Hawaii).

Jordan James rounded-out scoring for Concordia, as she netted a goal in the 59th minute. James was responsible for 11 of her team's 34 shots.

After spelling starter Megan Frontiera for the first half, Hartom -- who played the final 64:18 -- was the winning 'keeper of record. The duo combined for nine saves, and each surrendered a goal.

Tori Fleharty (Richmond, Texas) suffered the loss, but made 14 saves in her debut as a freshman.
