Chambers nets pair in season-opener, as Women's Soccer prevails 2-0 over Concordia University

AUSTIN, Texas - Led by senior midfielder Marin Chambers, the University of Dallas women's soccer team (1-0) blanked Concordia University, 2-0, on the road Saturday afternoon. 

Just 75-seconds into the contest, Chambers (Anchorage, Alaska) scored her first of two goals for the Lady Crusaders on an assist from freshman Christiana Sulak (Frisco, Texas).

Of the unassisted variety, Chambers' second came in the 67th-minute when she again beat Concordia goalkeeper Kila Hartom.

Sophomore 'keeper Brigid Hasson (Fairfax, Va.) solidified the net for Dallas, making seven-saves from 14-shots to secure the shutout.

In their second of five road-contests to begin the season, Dallas is scheduled to play Howard Payne University (1-0) in Brownwood, Texas, Sunday at 2 p.m.
