Claire Sexton nets game winner in overtime, helps propel Women's Soccer to 1-0 road victory over Bethany College (Kan.)

IRVING, Texas -  The University of Dallas women's soccer team (5-1) defeats Bethany College (KS) on the road 1-0 in overtime for their fifth win in six games played.

Sophomore forward Claire Sexton (Salem, Va./Salem H.S.) was able to sneak one of her two shots on goal past Bethany College's goalkeeper to break the 0-0 tie.

Sophomore goalkeeper Brigid Hasson (Fairfax, Va./Trinity at Meadowview) recorded 4 saves throughout the game and allowed no goals.

Sophomore defender Emily Rogers (San Antonio, Texas/MacArthur H.S.) and junior midfielder Marin Chambers (Anchorage, Alaska/South Anchorage H.S.) led the team with four shots each with three of Rogers' on goal and one of Chambers'. The Lady Crusaders outshot Bethany College 19-13.

Dallas will remain in Kansas to face Southwestern College, Sept. 18, in Winfield, Kan.
