Women's Soccer squares off with Trinity University

The University of Dallas women's soccer team (3-5-1) faced a stiff road test on Friday, losing to Trinity University, 6-0

Crusader goalkeeper Brigid Hasson (Fairfax, VA/Trinity at Meadowview) was bombarded by 14 shots on goal, allowing four goals in the first half. Overall, Trinity had 35 shots.

Abigail Loar started the scoring for Trinity, netting a goal in the 6-minute mark. Loar would also score in the 28-minute in addition to the 75-minute to round off her hat trick.

UD wasn't able to generate much support on the offensive end for Hasson, as freshman forward Claire Sexton (Salem, Va/Salem H.S.) mustered the team's only shot on goal.

UD will return to action Sunday, Oct. 10, when they battle Southwestern University on the road at 2 p.m.
