Crusaders Defeated by Hanover

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Dallas women's lacrosse team lost their non-conference matchup with Hanocer College on Wednesday.  They fall to 1-3 on the year.

The match started off even enough, with the two teams trading blows over the first few minutes.  Sophia Haeuser got the Crusaders on the board after three minutes to make it 2-1 Hanover, but the Panthers replied 30 seconds later to make it 3-1.

A goal mmidway through the period, and two goals in the final two minutes gave Hanover a 6-1 lead going into the second quarter.  The Panthers would go on to score a total of 10 unanswered goals in the first half, taking a 12-1 lead into the break.  Angela Bawardi opened the scoring in the third quarter to make it 12-2, but thtat would be the last goal of the day for the Crusaders.  The Panthers would add eight more to their total before the final whistle.

Kathleen Rodda faced 36 shots, saving 16 of them.
