Keever and Flynn earn IWLS All-Conference Honors

GEORGETOWN, Texas – Erika Keever (Fort Worth, Texas) and Christiane Flynn (Seattle, Wash.) were named to the Independent Women's Lacrosse School (IWLS) All-Conference Honorable Mention Team. It is the second season in a row for Keever and first time Flynn received a nod.

This is the second year for the IWLS to recognize postseason awards. Dallas is one-of-nine programs part of the IWLS. Fellow Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) foes Colorado College and Southwestern University are also members. Rounding out the rest of the bunch are: Dean College, D'Youville College, Franciscan University, Northland College, University of Northwestern-St. Paul, and State University of New York-Canton.

Keever posted 21 goals and added assist for 22 points, which ranked second on the team in both categories. After surpassing 20 goals the past two seasons, Keever reached the half century mark for goals with 51 in three seasons. The midfielder led the squad in draw controls with 21 and recorded 23 ground balls for second highest. She posted a 71.4 shots on goal percentage (30-42), and was 5-of-10 in free position shots.

Flynn netted a personal-best five goals, 22 ground balls, and 10 draw controls for the Crusaders in just eight matches. The second-year player delivered 17-of-20 shot attempts on goal. Flynn did score in four different matches, with a multi-goal performance in the team's victory over Johnson & Wales University the final game of the spring.
