Flynn, Shinkle, Graziose, and Hahn form Quartet on IWLS All-Academic Squad

GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Independent Women’s Lacrosse Schools (IWLS) All-Academic Team has been announced for the 2017 season. To be named a member of the IWLS All-Academic Team, recipients must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 for the 2016-17 academic year.

GEORGETOWN, Texas – Six members of the University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team received all-conference honors for the Independent Women’s Lacrosse School (IWLS). Headlining the sextet was Lexi Leite (Houston, Texas) on All-IWLS First Team. Frances Davis (Heber City, Utah) and Lizz Winkler (St. Charles, Ill.) was named All-IWLS Second Team.

IRVING, Texas – On Sunday the University of Dallas Athletic Department celebrated the fourth annual athletic banquet held at Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 15 NCAA affiliated programs were asked to summarize the year for their teams. The team-voted Most Valuable Players (MVPS) were announced and handed out. Coaches also noted other conference achievements, program records, and student-athlete milestones.
Women's Lacrosse Wins Final Match of 2017 at Elmhurst College

ELMHURST, Ill. – The University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team concluded the season with a 12-6 victory on Sunday at Elmhurst College. First-year head coach Destinee Johnson’s squad completes the season 4-11 and matched the same win total as 2016.

CHICAGO, Ill. – Illinois Institute of Technology (12-1) moved past the University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team in an 18-1 final on Saturday. Dallas (3-11) surrendered the first 17 goals, before its leading scorer, Lexi Leite (Houston, Texas) found the back of the cage with less than four minutes in the game.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – The University of Dallas women's lacrosse team blanked Johnson & Wales University in the final 31:32 minutes of Sunday's match. The Crusaders (3-10) had battled its opponent to a 5-5 halftime, but then doubled the advantage and allowed no goals to reflect a season-low allowed.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – The University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team fell 21-8 on Saturday versus Benedictine College (KS) on a neutral site match. Dallas (2-10) trailed by three at halftime, but a 12-2 stretch in the last 30 minutes proved too much as the Ravens (9-2) triumphed.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team dropped an 18-5 decision on Tuesday afternoon versus Pacific University. Dallas (2-9) has concluded the home portion of its schedule. The Boxers (3-3) have won consecutive games and used a 13-0 first half to grab the momentum in this one.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team enjoyed an incredible day shooting the ball, easily boasting its season most totals with 42 shots and 30 shots on goal. A combined 13 goals from Lexi Leite (Houston, Texas) and Julia Shinkle (Ewing, N.J.) highlighted the Dallas (2-7) offense tying a single game record for goals in a 21-13 victory against Carroll University (1-3) on Thursday afternoon.
