2021 UD Top Performer: Green Collected Pair of Walk-off Hits

IRVING, Texas – We are taking a look back at top individual performances and moments from the spring of 2021. It was a unique semester in which the University of Dallas had 15 NCAA sponsored sports competing.

Devinne Green picked up her second walk-off hit of the season to help the University of Dallas softball team defeat Schreiner University, 4-3, on Senior Day. Green went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs for the Crusaders. She had tallied the go-ahead RBI in the sixth inning that capped a three-run frame. The freshman would be needed again in the eighth, as she poked a base hit to center field and scored Emily Martin. Green only had two multi-hit games on the spring, and both were 3-hit games that resulted in a walk-off. Her other was against Austin College in the seventh of a 13-12 final.
