The University of Dallas softball team closes the month at Trinity University for a four-game conference series. Head coach Caitlynn Dykes returns to her alma mater, where she played from 2012-15 as a starting catcher and racked up national and conference honors.

The Crusaders are seeking their first wins in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) play. They were edged a week ago in a home series with Centenary College. 12 of the team's last 14 games this regular season will be against conference foes.

UD NOTABLES

- Julie Duenas (Houston, Texas) is batting .413 this season. Her four home runs are tied second in the SCAC. Her 14 RBI also are a team-best.

- Caitlyn Stevenson (Henderson, Texas) has hit safely in six-of-eight games, including a five-game hitting streak. She ranks first on the squad in runs scored (15) and is second in hits (27).
