FIRST PITCH
The University of Dallas softball team plays its second road trip and first against a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) opponent with Austin College. The Crusaders (1-11) dropped their first SCAC series last weekend with No. 2 Texas Lutheran University. All four setbacks on the road for Dallas have been decided by a run.
UDCRUSADERS HEADLINES
- A trio of hitters are in double-digits for total base knocks. Caitlyn Stevenson (Henderson, Nev.), Liz Cordova (Oklahoma City, Okla.), and Alicia Enciso (Corona, Calif.) form the unit with 13, 12, and 11, respectively.
- Enciso has produced a pair of 3-hit games the past two weekends and has a team-high three doubles.
- Stevenson has swiped a team-high six stolen bases, while Mel Savala (Bryan, Texas) has gone 4-for-5.
- Lauren Galvan (Bryan, Texas) has logged a team-high 42.1 innings. She and Maggie Watts (Arcadia, La.) have both allowed the same total of hits (60) and runs scored (37).
- Dallas edges its opponents in walks 33-16. Stephanie Cervantes (Temecula, Calif.) has drawn seven for a team-best.
