USCAA Tabs Gallegos as Player of the Week

Freshman infielder Sandra Gallegos (Houston, TX/Lamar H.S.) was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Softball Player of the Week. In a clutch performance against Howard Payne University, the freshmen went 3-6 with a homerun, a double, 2 RBI, and a run scored. Gallegos was also responsible for driving in both the tying and winning runs in Saturday's win.
