University of Dallas to Host Nike Softball Camp
The University of Dallas will be hosting a Nike Softball Camp this summer from June 13-17. Fifth year UD softball coach, Rachel Hanson, will be directing the camp. In Coach Hanson's fourth season the team finished with a record breaking 20 win total. A graduate of Trinity University, her team won a conference championship and finished 19th in the nation.
The camp will consist of drills and practice during the day as well as free time/pool sessions. The camper to instructor ratio is 8:1 in addition to the rigorous focus on fundamentals of the game. The options for enrollment are: Overnight ($465) or Extended Day ($365). All campers will receive softball instructional programs and evening activities and a NIKE camp t-shirt. The overnight campers will have all meals and housing while the extended day campers will receive lunch and dinner.
