Crusaders Finish Ninth at Bill Libby Invitational

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Dallas men's cross country team competed at the Bill Libby Invitational on Saturday. The Crusaders finished ninth out of 13 teams with a score of 247. Thomas Lagarde (Linden, Va.) paced Dallas with a 24th place finish coming in with a time of 28:28.9. John James (Metairie, La.) followed shortly behind his teammate for 27th  scoring 26 points for the team.

Stephen Brennan (Tulsa, Okla.) had a Personal Record (PR) finish in the 8k race finishing with a time of 32:03.5. Caleb Clayton (Kerrville, Texas) also ran a PR with a time of 32:55.8.

Raymond Navarro (Austin College) won the race with a time of 26:34.8. Tyler Rohrman (Hardin-Simmons University) took second (26:48.1) while Charles Dorsett grabbed third (27:01.5).

UT-Dallas won the meet with a score of 45. Austin College and Hardin-Simmons took second and third, respectively.


UP NEXT

Dallas will take a week off to prepare for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships (8k) on November 2nd held in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
