Dallas Competed in the Inaugural UT Dallas Cross Country Invitational

RICHARDSON, Texas - The University of Dallas men's cross country team competed at the inaugural UT-Dallas Cross Country Invitational held on Saturday morning. The Crusaders finished sixth out of seven teams. Thomas Lagarde (Linden, Va.) led Dallas with a 19th place finish after a time of 17:20. Two other runners finished within the top-40.  

John James (Metairie, La.) took the second spot for UD coming in 32nd at the 18:17 mark. Stephen Brennan (Tulsa, Okla.) finished in the 34th spot with a time of 18:50. Five other Crusaders competed on the day.

Austin College won the race with a team score of 56. University of Texas at Dallas took second (63), while Hardin-Simmons University secured third (67).

Dallas will prepare for the Muthama-Rogers XC Invite (5k) in hosted by Bethel College in Newton, Kansas next Saturday.
